Junior School Wellness Council
In the Junior School, our Wellness Council continues to evolve and develop.
The Wellness Council currently consists of 6 members whose main focus is student well-being at break times. The students in the council ensure that there are games and resources available for all children to join in and have fun. They also identify pupils who may be having friendship difficulties.
The Council meet each term to discuss their focus area and it enables the children to have a voice and support their peers.
In our Junior School, the students are all expected to be King's SMART. Within the SMART guidelines we expect children to have consideration for others and treat one another and all adults with courtesy and respect.
Children need to feel happy and secure in order to thrive at school, which is why we give pastoral care a high priority.
