Junior Award

One of our Upper Prep pupils, Eliza, has had a fantastic start to 2020 by earning herself a distinction in her Autumn LAMDA examination. Eliza has singing and LAMDA lessons within the School and has worked very hard to achieve an amazing result.

As well as earning her distinction, Eliza has recently been successful in being offered the role of Gretyl (the youngest Von Trapp child) in The Sound of Music which runs at The Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham in June.  There were around 80 children who auditioned for the production so Eliza is thrilled to have been offered the part. There are two teams of children who will perform on alternate days during the run of the production.

During our Junior School Commendation Assembly, Eliza was given the opportunity to tell everybody about her upcoming part as Gretl and congratulated by our Junior School Head, Mrs. Haas.

Our Commendations Assembly gives pupils recognition of outstanding pieces of work or contributions to school life. These are personally approved by Mrs. Haas and presented as an award.
