On Wednesday 2nd October we hosted a visit from the Dornakal Diocese including Bishop Prasada Rao, his wife Sunandam, the treasurer Mr Shubhakar, Mrs Stella Faith and two Pastors Revd. Charles and Revd. Johnson.

The visitors enjoyed Assembly with the whole school in the Cathedral and then had a tour of the school. They also met the Lower Sixth and Fifth Form pupils together with their parents, who are going to visit Dornakal and assist at the DDEM School next summer.

The visitors engaged in a question and answer session about life in India with the Sixth Form. Among the questions, they were asked who had inspired them most and all replied their parents or a family member and the most important inspiration was their Christian faith in times of adversity.

Upper Sixth Form pupil Callan Smithson presented his design for a storage unit/chair to Bishop Prasada Rao, Mr Shubhakar and Mr Benjamin Vadapalli.
