Drama Music

King’s pupils from the Junior and Senior School have enjoyed wonderful success in singing, drama and piano classes at the recent Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts.

All of our pupils represented the school fantastically well. The standard across all classes was very high, and they should all be extremely proud of their achievements.

In particular, Bertie (Yr 8) won first prize for his cornet solo, and Samuel (Yr 9) won his piano class. Liesl (Yr 5) and Sabrina (Yr 5), and Conrad (Yr 9) and Harriet (Yr 10) won their piano duet classes.

In the Vocal classes, Skye (Yr 6) and Sam (Yr 8) won two classes each, Eliza (Yr 8) won one of her classes and the Hugh McDowell cup, and Wayland (Yr 7) won the B M Shneider cup.

A number of pupils also entered Drama and Public Speaking classes, with Lola (Yr 8) winning the Margaret Lees Cup for Verse and Sophia, Orla and Sophie (all Yr 8) winning the Evelyn Abbot Cup in their Group Acting class.
