Three Choirs combine for Evensong
On 25th January, the three Chamber Choirs from King's School, Gloucester, Hereford Cathedral School and King's School, Worcester combined to sing a Festival Evensong at Worcester Cathedral.
The event mirrored the famous Three Choirs Festival that runs each summer and the high-quality singing and the sheer sound of the 76-strong choir was a credit to the talent at all three schools, with Noble's 'Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis' in B minor and Wood's 'O Thou the Central Orb' providing ample opportunity to fill every corner of the Nave.
Special thanks go to Mr Simon Taranczuk (Director of Music at King's Worcester) for organising and hosting the event this year. Next year we are planning to host the event at Gloucester.
