Fighter Pilot helps pupils' dreams take off with inspirational talk
Pupils in First to Sixth Form were delighted to welcome Vincent Hargreaves to King's on Friday to give a Careers Lunch talk on his career as a Fighter Pilot.
A fascinating presentation from start to finish, Vincent wowed the pupils with stories from his illustrious career in the RAF, including some of his highlights and near misses! He even had time to give them a demonstration of all of the equipment he would wear in the cockpit. He also spoke individually to those pupils interested in following in his footsteps and talked them through the steps required after leaving school, and kindly offered to support them in their applications.
We are very grateful to Vincent for giving up his time to inspire the next generation and look forward to welcoming him back in the near future!
This was the latest in our series of Careers Lunches, an informal setting that gives the pupils from all year groups the chance to come and listen to a speaker from a variety of industries.
