Chinese Culture Day

To round off a fantastic ‘Let’s Go To China’ topic, Upper Transition (Year Two) enjoyed a wonderful Chinese culture day on Thursday 12th October. The children all came to school in traditional Chinese outfits and took part in a variety of different activities.
The children practised Chinese calligraphy by painting their names onto Xuan paper, made Chinese puppets, good luck charms and tasted foods that are traditional to Chinese families, which they attempted to eat using chop sticks. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed being immersed in the Chinese culture.
