We welcomed Kaetsu High School, Japan, to visit King’s Junior School on Thursday 19th October. The visiting school informed us about school life in Japan though various presentations.

The King’s children introduced the visitors to musical games that they could play as a group, led by Mrs Sawyer. Next, the children were buddied together and given a personal tour of the Cathedral and school, ending in the Upper Shell (Year Six) classrooms. The Kaetsu students reciprocated all that they had been taught by offering workshops in calligraphy, Japanese games and art. After lunch together, the Japanese students waved goodbye and continued their tour of England.
