Wellbeing Art Exhibition InvitationOn Friday 21st June KS4 students worked in collaboration with Steve Hart, a ‘pilot artist in residence’ at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice.

Steve engages his artistic skills as part of his wellbeing and therapy and is exhibiting work in Gloucester Cathedral which opens on Friday 28th June as part of the Art and Wellbeing: Creating Community Exhibition.

Students had a monoprinting demonstration from Steve and proceeded to generate their own beautiful monoprints from photographic images of the Cathedral and cloisters that had been captured by Steve as part of his portfolio.

This was a powerful and highly engaging workshop that not only generated some exquisite results but also gave students a meaningful insight into Huntington’s Disease and its implications.
