Paris October 2022
On Friday 14th October, we all set off to Paris!
On our first day we took an exciting trip up the Eiffel Tower; despite the rain, the view was fantastic, and everyone had a blast. We stopped for lunch on a bustling street and shopped at boulangeries and markets. We finished off the day on the Bateaux-Mouche for a cruise on the river Seine.
After the jam-packed first day, we went to Le Louvre! For me, it was definitely the highlight of the trip. We had a guided tour around the palace-like museum and saw breathtaking architecture and expertly carved statues. We most notably saw the Mona Lisa and hundreds of world-famous paintings. We then spent a relaxing afternoon shopping at Le Louvre, having lunch in the Tuileries Garden and visiting a stunning Basilica and the picturesque surroundings of Montmartre. After dinner, we went to play a laser game, which was fun.
On our final day in Paris, we climbed The Arc De Triumph and took in awe inspiring views of Paris. This was followed by an expedition to Notre Dame and the surrounding area. Finally, we boarded the Eurostar at Gare Du Nord and took a leisurely journey home.
Paris was a truly wonderful experience, from stunning architecture to rich culture, there was truly something for everyone!
