Sixth Form History and Politics students at King's were delighted to be able to trade questions with their local MP, Richard Graham during his recent visit to the school. Mr Graham also met with the Headmaster, David Morton, to discuss the many ways that King's has links with the local community.

Mr Graham kindly visited the school and shared his experiences as Member of Parliament for Gloucester and a Trade Envoy to South East Asia. He was grilled on topics ranging from why the Conservative Party did not appeal to young voters in the recent election to whether it was a wise policy to deal with overseas dictators. Mr Graham shared forthright views and the students enjoyed the ensuing discussion.
Asked why he had become an MP, Mr Graham gave helpful advice for all students at King's, 'Life is about enjoyment. Do what you're best at and make the most of it'. There is no doubt that the pupils were left better informed and inspired to continue to play their part in the local and national community.
