Spring Music Concert

A wonderful evening of music making was given by all of the music groups in Junior School on Thursday 21st March.

Pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 have worked hard to bring their pieces up to performance standard and the audience enjoyed a variety of styles throughout the evening. Our specialist groups were the Brass Group, Wind Ensemble and String Group, with all of the recorder groups coming together for one joint piece. Several staff also showed their talents by making an appearance, playing with the various groups.

We were delighted by the enthusiasm from our Young King's Voices members and they will have been inspired by the older children performing, especially our soloists, Cecily, Laurence and Gabrielle. We had march, blues and samba style pieces from the Orchestra and King's Voices began and ended the concert with their committed singing of Light of the World, True Colours and The Music of Life.
