Fifth Form pupil Bobby has been selected to play for England
Fifth Form pupil Bobby has been selected to play in the forthcoming England NAGS U16 Boys' matches at home vs Germany at Lilleshall (28th-30th June) and away vs Belgium in Nivelles (4th-7th July).
The National Age Group Squads (NAGS) is run by England Hockey at U16 and U18 level. The NAGS environment provides players with their first taste of international training camps and tournaments.
King's Director of Sport, Mr Andy Phillips, commented, "NAGS brings together talented players with the highest potential from across the country. It is a great honour to be selected and we are very proud of Bobby's achievements. We wish him the very best of luck in these next two matches."
King's have recently invested over £1million in a new all-weather sports pitch with the aim of giving pupils, and players from across the Gloucestershire community, one of the best pitches on which to train and play, enabling them to reach the next level of performance. Indeed our current 1st XI are the most successful team over the last 23 years, having won 26 from 31 matches last season.
