Primary Schools Science Challenge 2022
Congratulations to the team from Hillview Primary School who won the Primary Schools Science and Engineering Challenge on Saturday. A team from King's Junior School was second.
Teams from nine different schools across the county entered the competition and the challenge was to build a bridge using a range of materials. The winner was the team whose bridge carried the most weight.
Thanks to our judges, Mike Healey, Simi Robbins and Stephanie Organ, who are members of King's STEAM committee and also to the King's staff, Dr Hogg, Dr Pike and Mr Smith and the Sixth Form students, who helped on the morning.
The event was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part; we look forward to next year's challenge!
