On Tuesday 21st May, Joe and Harry represented King's Junior School at the K'NEX  competition final organised by STEMworks.

During these sessions, STEMworks will talk about what engineering is, what engineers do and then students have the opportunity to think like engineers as they participate in a K'NEX competition in the classroom increasing STEM-related skills such as problem solving, teamwork and following a technical brief.

After winning the Upper Shell challenge in the Michaelmas term, the boys were sent to Renishaw headquarters to compete against other schools. The K'NEX competition aims to increase pupils' STEM-related skills such as problem-solving and teamwork. They were tasked with creating a robotic arm that had two forms of movement. The boys did superbly and everyone at King's is very proud of them.
